Le travail international d’Olga Kisseleva, qui implique les participants dans une posture réflexive, toujours de façon humaine.
Olga Kisseleva (Saint-Petersbourg, 1965) uses new technologies, photography and video, to formulate her statements: a world that is dominated by technology and conditioned behaviours. The complex reality of her works can be read in multiple ways : on local, conceptual and global levels. Her work deals with urban territories, identity and the new media, highlighting the failings in the western model. She is particularly concerned with capitalist post-modern societies, adept in the art of formatting.
Elena Sorokina is a Paris/Brussels based curator and writer. A Whitney Museum of American Art ISP fellow, she has curated exhibitions in New York and, more recently, “Petroliana” at the Moscow Biennial 2007, “Laws of Relativity” at the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin, “On Traders’ Dilemmas” at YBCA, San Francisco, 2008 and the upcoming exhibition for the “Invisible Borders” project at Tri Postal, Lille, 2009. She has been writing for Artforum, Moscow Art Magazine, Die Zeit and other publications. * As there are a limited number of places, a reservation is recommended: catherine@jozsagallery.com or by phone : +32 478 48 77 09
